Hall of Fame
Lou Zocchi: One of the "grand old men" of the wargaming hobby, Lou Zocchi was everyone's "Uncle Lou" and a devout hobby evangelist. Although he designed a few games (Alien Space, The Battle of Britain, Luftwaffe), Lou will probably be best remembered for making the finest dice in the hobby and inventing the "Zocchihedron" (100-sided) die.

1986: That Was the Wargaming Year That Was!

This is the year that Milton Bradley entered the fray, releasing three new Game Master Series games at L.A. Origin '86: Broadsides & Boarding Parties, Axis & Allies, and the CSR Award winning Fortress America. Their presence in Toys R Us stores across America helped broaden the hobby considerably.
