Your Course Project Game:
You’ve got one item due next week for your Graded Course Project Game. You need to bring a completed, Gamma version of the game to class for evaluation. This needs to be a fully working version of the game with all of the final art and sound files in it.
The 40 point grading rubric was explained in last week’s Review Sheet and is on the web site’s Course Project page. A brief summary is presented below:
Game Concept / Premise [up to 3 points]
Intro & Splash Screen [up to 3 points]: make sure that you have one
Ergonomics [up to 4 points]
Ease of Understanding, Rules, and Victory Conditions [up to 6 points]
Art / Graphics & Sound [up to 6 points]
Fun Factor, Replayability, & Story [up to 10 points]
Cheese Screen [up to 3 points]: make sure that you have one
Help Screen [up to 5 points]: make sure that you have this in order and show it during your presentation
A Special Homework Assignment:
Your second homework assignment this week is to complete the Week 10 Homework Questionnaire handed out in class. Bring your completed form to class next week for our final session. If you did not get the questionnaire, it is available here as a .PDF file.
