Game Project Management

Week 7 Homework: Intellectual Property Protection, Part 2: Trade Secrets and Non-Disclosure Agreements

“The best way to learn games is to play games. The best way to make games is to work.” – Alan Emrich

Part I: Class Homework

Re-read the Review Sheet (particularly the parts that were sped past during the lecture) and peruse the Required Reading assignments for this week. While you should be focusing your energy on progressing your Graded Course Project (see below), you will need to keep up with the required readings!

Part II: The Graded Course Project

Armed with the feedback you received from your first Practice Pitch, you should be busy revising and following your Production Schedule and finishing, tuning, and polishing your Pitch Presentation. You must have learned a great deal about the current state of your pitch presentation from this week’s “show-and-tell” presentation, so use that knowledge to re-examine your schedule, get your project back on track, and finish it up on a high note.

Part III: The Third Exam

Be sure to review the material from Weeks 5 through 7, plus the required reading from the Web Site. There will be an exam next week covering that material. It is worth 25 points.
