In the upper (yellow) tier, that race's special ability and setup information is presented. The middle (orange) section shows the game's Sequence of Play, while the lower (blue) section lists the units available in the game, their cost, combat rating (e.g., what they need to roll or higher on a ten-sided die in order to inflict a hit on the enemy and cost them one ship of the enemy player's choice), and movement allowance.

Sprawling game of space faring races out to dominate known space. This game combines a number of elements from other game systems into a unique package. Hex tiles create the game board and each player begins with a race with unique powers. The game focuses heavily on a political voting phase and a web of trade agreements between players.

Playable by two to six players, Twilight Imperium takes three to five hours to play. Everything you need to play is included in the game:
